  1. Angel, I like one of your resources, Unicef. I have worked with this organization when I was younger. They did a food drive to small children in my town when I was a teenager and it was so eye opening. I had never seen homeless children and that made an impact in my life. I think children have the right to have a roof over their heads and when this is deprived of them is very sad to see. I think UNICEF is a great organization!

    1. Oh wow! Thats cool! My mom went on a church mission trip where she spent time with children who are less fortunate and it was eye opener for her as well. With her there to spend time with them, the children loved her. It wasn't with UNICEF but its the small things that can make a child happy and have good childhood memories.

  2. Angel,

Your resource list is resourceful! NAEYC is one of my favorites, but that could be because I wasn't exposed to as much resources as I'm this semester. I have heard a lot about UNICEF and was inclined to research it further this week. Thanks for the resources.

  3. Your additional resource UNICEF supplied good information about the health of a child. That is a great resource for people who is a Pediatrician or working closely with children. I have not heard about this resource so I enjoyed checking it out. Appreciated that resource and will have to add that to my list to use for future reference.

  4. Thank you for posting the additional resources you did! :) I have added Let's Move and AAP.org onto my resource page. I think being healthy is the key to success for all, not just children. But, I think it is crucial to start young and exercise and eating healthy are easy habits to start :)

  5. Angel,

You have some great resources :). I can see that you are dedicated to the health of young children which is an awesome thing. I have been keeping up with Michelle Obama and her "Let's Move" program. I think she is amazing and it's great to see her in sweats working out with children. I am so glad that childhood health is growing and people are motivated to getting children to stay healthy, it's a awesome thing!
